Membership Requirements


The credit union was founded in 1956 for employees of the Atlanta Division of the Texas Company (Texaco). The credit union now serves employees of Chevron, Shell and over 25 other companies, who work at various locations. Organizations, family members and retirees can also join. Please contact the credit union office for exact qualifications.




Membership Enrollment / Form


Becoming a member of Petroleum Associates Federal Credit Union is easy and simple - see Membership Requirements shown above.. Just complete the membership application and make an initial deposit of $5 into a regular savings account. Our membership policy is "once a member, always a member." If you should terminate your employment with your current employer, you may still remain a member of the credit union. To remain a member in good standing we recommend you keep a minimum of $100 in your regular share account, which pays a dividend, or keep it active with annual monetary transactions,
